1137S® KNIFE KLEEN is a clear odorless liquid developed to improve productivity on diaper machines by keeping the tape cutting knives free of adhesives.

It is generally applied to the cutting knives with a saturated felt pad, or roller, in contact with the knife or anvil. It is especially useful on the vaccuum roll in cutting frontal tape when the anvil is in contact with a dampened felt wiper.

There are no oils in 1137S® KNIFE KLEEN to gradually mix with adhesives, and there are no silicone materials that would contaminate diaper films with resulting loss of adhesion.

Because of the unique properties of 1137S® KNIFE KLEEN that prevent it from mixing with adhesives or with oils, it is important that knife surfaces and felts are initially clean. A little solution will then go a long way with just a spray on to the felts only about twice a shift.
